I honestly don't know what actions Congress can take to constrain the Trump administration in its disastrous policies to reshape our nation into the uninformed, juvenile fantasy of a world power. ICE, Greenland, political persecution, alienating our allies, hollowing out the mechanisms of a functional republic.
I know that I can speak, and that you speak on my behalf. Yet your voice is not loud enough. The Trump administration's actions have been egregious antithetical to the soul of the United States. Why do I not hear your cries in chorus with mine? Why are you silent? What are you afraid of? What consequences for standing ground against tyranny can be worse for you than those who are suffering now? And, even if they were, isn't this why you were elected?
