The Trump administration has proposed billions of dollars in cuts to programs that are critical to saving lives and ending the costly HIV/AIDS Epidemic.
As a registered nurse who practiced in infectious diseases during the 1980s and 1990s, I know that with advancements in long-acting HIV prevention and treatment, we could end the HIV epidemic in the United States within our lifetimes, but not without crucial federal HIV programs.
REJECT cuts!
Fully fund these life-saving and cost-reducing HIV programs:
HIV, hepatitis, STI and TB prevention funding
Ryan White Program and Minority AIDS Initiative funds that directly impact the ability of people living with HIV to access, and caregivers to provide, lifesaving evidence-based HIV treatment, dental, education and training programs
National Institutes of Health research funds
Housing Opportunities for People with HIV/AIDS
🚨 It may be your own children that you save.
