I’m writing today to urge you to support House Resolution 935 and vote to impeach Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. The existing charges against him are serious and well-documented, and more war crimes pile up every day. It’s obvious that the two articles of House Resolution 935 will need ti be augmented because of his war actions and bloodthirsty attitude. Article I charges him with murder and conspiracy to murder for ordering strikes on small boats in the Caribbean on September 2, 2025. Hegseth gave the directive to "kill everybody," and a second strike was carried out specifically to kill the shipwrecked survivors. This violates the most basic laws of war. These unlawful actions could also include piracy, since oil tankers from Venezuela have also been seized, and their contents squirreled away. Article II charges him with mishandling classified information by using Signal, an unauthorized platform, to discuss Yemen airstrikes. To add another article would be to include war crimes already showing up during the illegal and unauthorized war on Iran. The strike on the girls school in Iran is yet another example of the cruelty and incompetence of Hegseth. All these actions warrant removal from office. Thank you
