The war in Iran

This war in Iran is illegal. It wasn’t authorized by Congress. The DOD has never passed a financial audit since Congress mandated annual reviews in 2018. What are you doing? A law has been passed and it’s been ignored. 15 soldiers have been killed in a war that is unnecessary - we have been through this under George W. Bush. Daily operations in and around Iran are costing taxpayers an estimated $59.39 million per day.  It could instead cover the daily costs of Medicaid for more than 4 million Americans, or food stamps for 9.5 million Americans. These were cut under last year’s H.R. 1, and now families are at risk of going hungry and without healthcare as a result. Your job is to pass laws and check the power of the Executive branch. What are you even doing? I need you to grow a spine and use your power to check this Administration.
