President Trump’s Performance Evaluation After One Year
To: Sen. Cruz, Sen. Cornyn, Rep. Carter

January 20
Given President Trump's performance over the last year, I am asking that you work to remove him from office. During the 2024 campaign, Trump made several key promises. After one year, it is now time to review his performance based on these promises: 1. Make Cost of Living Affordable Grocery prices keep rising above pre-pandemic levels. Healthcare costs soared after Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill eliminated ACA subsidies, with premiums expected to jump 114% and 2.2 million Americans projected to lose coverage. Home prices hit $426,800 (Q3 2025) amid a 4-million-home shortage, while his tariffs and deportations severely constrained new construction. 2. Deport the “Worst of the Worst” Seventy percent of ICE detainees have no criminal convictions—contradicting Trump’s “worst of the worst” promise. Additionally, over 170 American citizens were wrongfully detained in 2025. ICE is aggressively grabbing people off the streets, separating families, and throwing them into detention centers without adequate food, medical care, or due process. Federal agents have shot multiple civilians, including clergy members pepper-balled during prayers, and Renee Good, fatally shot in Minneapolis—incidents triggering nationwide outrage over excessive force. 3. End Wars, Bring Global Peace Ukraine and Gaza killings continue with Trump launching strikes on Venezuela, Iran’s nuclear facilities, Yemen, Caribbean vessels, and Greenland while threatening to militarize American cities! 4. End Inflation “Day One” Trump vowed to “end inflation” immediately. December 2025 inflation remains at 2.7%, 35% above the Fed’s 2.0% target. 5. Bring Back Manufacturing Jobs Manufacturing lost 72,000 jobs since April 2025’s “Liberation Day” tariffs—the longest decline since 2020. Trump’s tariffs raised costs for manufacturers, mass deportations stripped factories of skilled workers, and his anti-EV crusade forced Ford and GM to take billions in write-offs. 6. Release All the Epstein Files Trump promised during the campaign and even signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act into law on November 19, 2025, requiring all files be released by December 19th. As of January 2026, less than 1% of the files have been publicly released. The Attorney General appears to be obstructing justice with heavily redacted documents and missed deadlines, triggering bipartisan calls for contempt charges. Apparently, pedophiles are not held accountable in this country if they are rich and powerful. Overall Performance Evaluation—Very Bad! As a nation, we made a serious mistake allowing Trump and his cabinet to take control. Time for a huge course correction to save our country.
