I am writing to you as a concerned American who is deeply troubled by the ongoing attacks on our democracy. It is unacceptable that billionaires like Elon Musk are using their wealth and influence to undermine our government, and even more concerning that Donald Trump continues to push authoritarian rhetoric in an attempt to seize power. Our democracy is at stake, and I don’t understand why more leaders in Congress—especially you—are not speaking out forcefully against these threats. The American people elected you to represent us, to uphold the Constitution, and to fight for the future of this country. Yet, we see an alarming lack of action from many in Congress who should be standing up against corruption, extremism, and the erosion of democratic norms. If you continue to remain silent, the people will make their voices heard at the ballot box, and more seats will continue flipping to Democrats who are willing to fight for the people. This is not about party loyalty—it’s about protecting our nation from those who seek to dismantle it for their own gain. I urge you to take a stand, speak out against these dangerous forces, and DO YOUR JOB. The American people are watching, and we will hold our leaders accountable. I look forward to your response and to seeing real action in defense of democracy.
