Support Presidential Competency Evaluation Legislation

To: Sen. Cornyn, Rep. Fallon, Sen. Cruz

From: A verified voter in Dallas, TX

May 5

I need you to support legislation that would establish a formal process for evaluating presidential competency and removing a president who is unfit to serve. This mechanism should apply to the current administration and all future presidents. The 25th Amendment exists but has proven inadequate because it relies on the very cabinet members appointed by the president in question. We need an independent evaluation process that can assess mental and physical fitness without political interference. No one, regardless of party, should hold the nuclear codes if they lack the competency to execute the duties of the office. This isn't about partisan politics. It's about creating a safeguard that protects the country when a president becomes unable to fulfill their constitutional responsibilities. Every other critical position in government and the military has fitness standards and accountability measures. The presidency should be no exception. Vote yes on any bill that establishes clear, nonpartisan standards for presidential competency evaluation and creates an enforceable removal process when those standards aren't met.
