I'm writing today to urge you to intercede on behalf of Maryam Tahmasebi, Eissa Hashemi and their son. They are legal green card holders who have been detained by ICE for four months. These people have done nothing wrong nor been charged with any crimes. They and hundreds more like them in ICE detention centers are pawns used by the Trump Administration to give red meat immigration wins to their ever shrinking base. This is inhumane , illegal, unlawful and immoral. We and you must do more to put an end to these crimes. Please look into this family’s case to assist them and do more to fight back against this administration that would be a regime that never leaves power.
