Vote against the SAVE Act

To: Rep. Sykes, Sen. Husted, Sen. Moreno

From: A constituent in Akron, OH

April 10

I’m writing to implore that you vote AGAINST the SAVE Act. This is a direct attack on women’s right to vote, and a disgraceful act of blatant sexism. Passports are expensive and not accessible to everyone, plus they require WEEKS of waiting. This will affect all people who have legally changed their name, including married women, adopted people, and more. Supporting this legislation would be a clear and direct attack on women’s rights, and it would make it clear to all of your voters that you are sexist and unfit to represent the women (and trans and nonbinary and men) of Ohio. Your voters will remember which side of history you stood on. VOTE AGAINST THE SAVE ACT. Thank you.
