I’ve called / emailed several times this week regarding President Trump’s war with Iran. I am deeply concerned about how Republicans in Congress want to use reconciliation to fund this war while cutting essential programs to Americans like healthcare and WIC. I would like to see Articles of Impeachment of President Donald Trump, as well as the members of his Cabinet like Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who are complicit in this unauthorized war with Iran and other instances of misuse of power. Additionally, seeing the messages coming from the President’s Social Media, has me concerned about his mental health and well-being. These messages about mass genocide must end. The 25th Amendment, Section 4 of the constitution gives Congress the authority along with the Vice President to declare the president unfit to serve. Donald Trump’s actions social media statements over the last several months are becoming more unhinged. He tore down the East Wing of the White House, instructed the military to remove the president of Venezuela, and has started a War with Iran all without Congressional approval. His fitness to serve as president of the United States must be evaluated under the 25th Amendment. What are you planning to do to rein in Trump's outrageous threats, and how will you hold this administration accountable for their unconstitutional attack on Iran and war crimes? I would like a response in writing addressing these concerns. Thank you for your time and consideration.
