No confirmations, no collaboration: stonewall the Trump administration
To: Sen. Bennet, Sen. Hickenlooper
From: A verified voter in Centennial, CO
November 4
I am a constituent from Centennial, writing with a direct request after Tuesday's election: use every tool available to deny this administration cooperation for the rest of its term.
I urge you to vote against every Trump nominee, without exception, and to use holds, procedural objections, and floor time to slow any confirmation you cannot defeat outright. I also urge you to refuse to co-sponsor, negotiate, or vote for any Trump-backed legislation. No exceptions, no quiet deals, and no "just this once."
In my view, this administration's record has been a disaster for the country and for democratic institutions, and it has not earned good-faith partnership. Treating its agenda as business as usual lends legitimacy to conduct that deserves resistance. Voters have just delivered a clear message, and I want to see it met with a fully obstructed, fully scrutinized, lame-duck administration, not accommodation.
I am proud of this win, and I want it to translate into a firm line in the Senate. Please reply to let me know whether you will commit to this approach.
