It is crucial to prioritize the strengthening and improvement of public education rather than pursing policies that could destabilize the system. Investing in quality teachers, updated resources, and equitable funding for all public schools should be the primary focus. Alternative educational options should complement, not undermine, the public education system that serves as the foundation for our state's future. I urge you to reject HB 3 and instead support measures that prioritize the needs of all Texas students by investing in and enhancing our public schools. Our children deserve access to high-quality education, regardless of their backgrounds or circumstances.
