not to mention civil liberties groups. If HR 9495 passes your desk, I am urging you to vote NO. This bill would put a target on ALL 501 organizations - schools, libraries, museums, churches - Moreover it's redundant and silly - it's already illegal to give material support to 'terrorist' organizations. I've heard this bill described as a "Trojan horse of awful" and I completely agree. Biden, your vice president tried to lend support to Palestine during her run for office, and I'm begging you to honor her stand. This bill is aimed at pro-Palestinian protest groups, but the impact will radiate much much further than this. Please, please have some compassion and st op this bill.
