Restore secular national mottos, uphold religious freedom for all

To: Rep. Gluesenkamp Perez, Sen. Murray, Sen. Cantwell

From: A constituent in Vancouver, WA

September 22

Reverting national mottos and other texts modified in the 20th century to remove references to God would uphold the original secular foundations while avoiding potential affronts to particular religious or nonreligious perspectives, including the importance of exchanging "God" for "good". This approach strives to ensure government remains neutral toward diverse beliefs and identities, safeguarding religious freedom for all citizens.
