I do not support subsidizing Duke Energy building nuclear power plants by increasing rates on customers. Let Duke build more solar and wind farms. Start building wind turbines like the flower turbine on tops of high rises in downtown areas. Build solar collection fields over parking lots and parking decks. Incentivize solar panels on new home construction or when redoing a roof. It's not that hard. I have nothing against nuclear power, I have a problem with the Public paying for it for the benefit of a Private corporation.
