Student loan crisis

To: Sen. Marshall, Rep. Davids, Sen. Moran

From: A verified voter in Ottawa, KS

February 28

Everyday Americans like myself are still struggling with student loan issues and repayment options. We were promised higher incomes for obtaining higher education and that has not proven itself to be true. Now, with the economy doing poorly and job markets stagnant, our loan payments are a further unnecessary burden. What happened to loan forgiveness? If that's no longer at play, removing the interest on these loans is the very least that could be done to help everyday Americans. I understand that with the way this administration is running things into the ground, you have many issues on your plate. This would definitely be one way to show your constituents that you actually care about every day people.
