TRUMP’S AMERICA IS A DYSFUNCTIONAL & DANGEROUS MESS

You know what Americans aren’t talking about very much today after Trump’s threat to detonate the NATO and/or to invoke the Insurrection Act in Minnesota? They aren’t talking a lot about the fact that the DOJ has released less than 1% of the Epstein files despite the law, the Epstein Files Transparency Act, Congress passed requiring the release of those files in full no later than December 19. Trump loyalists are trying to shift public anger at Trump over the files back to Bill and Hillary Clinton. The tried and true ‘lock ‘em up’ strategy. Will supporters fall for it again? Representative James Comer (R-KY) has threatened to hold Bill Clinton in contempt of Congress for refusing to appear for a closed-door deposition about Epstein. But in a scathing four-page public letter to Comer, the Clintons called the subpoenas invalid and noted that Comer had subpoenaed eight people in addition to the Clintons and had then dismissed seven of them without testimony. They also noted that Comer had done nothing to force the DOJ to release all the Epstein files as required by law. Including all the material relating to them, as Bill Clinton has publicly called for. They said, “There is no plausible explanation for what you are doing other than partisan politics.” The Epstein files are the backdrop for everything else. Meanwhile we get to see daily the escalation of violence in Minnesota. Here’s a good one. A family with six children in a van caught in the clash this week were hit with tear gas and air bags detonated by a flash-bang grenade. Three of the children, including a six-month-old infant, were taken to a hospital by ambulance for treatment. “My kids were innocent. I was innocent. My husband was innocent. This shouldn’t have happened,” the mother told Fox9 in Minneapolis. “We were just trying to go home.” And to counter this ongoing tragedy, here’s what our government is offering us…. This week, Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L. Rollins stopped by NewsNation to discuss the potential higher costs associated with adding more protein to meals. "I think the question you're asking, and it's a really important one, is while we're asking Americans to reconsider what they're eating, are we actually asking Americans — especially those who are living on the margins — are we asking them to spend more on their diet? And the answer to that is 'no.'" “We've run over 1,000 simulations," she continued. "It can cost around $3 a meal for a piece of chicken, a piece of broccoli, a...you know, corn tortilla, and one other thing. And so there is a way to do this that actually will save the average American consumer money." Let the peasants eat tortillas. And one other thing. Good thing the party of fiscal responsibility had to run 1000 simulations to come up with this doozy.
