As your constituent I am writing to you today to urge you to continue to push back AGAINST Trump’s illegal ballroom. What happened on Saturday at the corespondents dinner is awful and I’m glad the person involved was arrested, but Republicans are using this situation as a way to push Trump’s ballroom. Not better security, not gun reform, but a golden ballroom. We do not need monuments to our president. Donald Trump destroyed decades of history by illegally tearing down an entire wing of the White House. It’s OUR house, not his. He did not consult Congress, he did not go through the proper channels, he did it on his own. It was an illegal move and you should not reward him for it. At a time when Americans are all suffering under high gas prices and record inflation the last thing we need is our tax dollars going to an obnoxiously huge building. Focus on bringing prices down, ending the war, supporting hungry children and struggling families, and releasing the Epstein files. Do NOT support Donald Trump’s vanity project.
