I'm asking you to de-fund ICE by opposing any appropriations bill that maintains ICE funding. Please support any legislation to get back the $75 billion ICE slush fund that was created by H.R. 1 last year. I am disgusted by the way these new and undertrained officers are creating chaos. They are using unacceptable violence against citizens and immigrants around the country. Rather than targeting violent criminals, they are racially profiling all people and escalating tensions and crime with their tactics. This is NOT making our communities safer. Instead, they are traumatizing families and children who have no criminal backgrounds. There is no excuse for violently responding to unarmed protesters and citizens.
