The fact that Musk and his loyalists burrowed into government systems to delete what they see fit is a dystopian nightmare that must be stopped. He has gotten access to the IRS, CDC, NPS, USAID, OPM, The Departments of Agriculture, Defense, Education, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Justice and Veterans Affairs and the Federal Aviation, General Services, Social Security and National Oceeanic and Atmospheric Administrations. Trump gave Musk and his operative carte blanche to target any unclassified system they pleased. Musk wanted a delete button he could weird against any agency so he burrowed into the US Treasury to gain access to Payment Automation Manager and the Secure Payment System. They have access to sensitive data on Americans like tax records for federal workers, crypto keys for restricted areas in federal facilities, personal testimonies of low income housing residents, biometric data, and private medical histories. In treating the US Government as a giant database the Trump Administration can gather much of what the government knows about given individual whether a civil servant or an undocumented immigrant in one easily searchable place. The cyber coup that is happening is disturbing. It is a cybersecurity risk and allows Musk and his loyalists the ability to shut if funding as they see fit.
