I oppose HB 2426. It is not government's place to decide constituents' gender markers on legal identification. It's an overreach at best and a waste of t ime and money. Further, It is disrespectful and dangerous to change the nature of the meeting on this bill at the last minute, causing people to scramble to defend thei r right to privacy. It makes me doubt the transparency and actual care for the people our lawmakers claim to represent.
