End the War and Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza

To: Sen. McCormick, Sen. Fetterman, Rep. Smucker

From: A constituent in Lititz, PA

July 27

The devastating humanitarian crisis in Gaza is unacceptable and requires immediate action. We must pressure the Trump administration to negotiate a durable ceasefire agreement to end the escalating violence and protect the lives of Palestinian civilians. The Israeli government's blockade of aid and supplies has pushed Gaza to the brink of famine, violating international laws and human rights norms. It is unconscionable to allow this suffering to continue while simultaneously supplying Israel with offensive weaponry used to carry out atrocities. A firm ceasefire deal is urgently needed to facilitate the safe and unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza. Furthermore, any plans to forcibly relocate Palestinians or develop their lands under U.S. ownership must be condemned in the strongest terms. The pursuit of a just two-state solution that guarantees Palestinian sovereignty and security should be the ultimate goal. We cannot remain complicit in these grave injustices through inaction.
