The American people turned out on election day to give the Democratic party ammunition. And in a late night vote, Senate Democrats just used that to shoot us in the back. I am not so stupid to believe that this did not happen without the permission of Chuck Schumer. Regardless of his recorded vote, I hold him responsible for this failure to hold the line. Without a swift repudiation of the party's leadership, I will have to assume you are complicit in this betrayal of the people. I will no longer stand with a party led by cowards and minions of corporate donors. I will not support you socially or financially. Call for the resignation of Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. Prove to the people of California that you are defending us against these threats to our safety, our freedoms, and our happiness.
