An Open Letter
To: Rep. Randall
From: A verified voter in Tacoma, WA
February 27
I want to sincerely thank the Representative for rejecting a cap on Working Connections Child Care, protecting eligibility for WCCC, and largely protecting existing child care investments in the House Budget.
I am asking the Representative to please continue advocating for these funding levels during negotiations with the Senate. In particular, I would like to see the legislature pass the House’s attendance policy. It will be easier for providers to implement and minimize administrative burden.
This is extremely important to me because I depend on affordable child care, as do so many others in Washington state.
