In addressing its illegal and needless war with Iran, this Republican administration has publicly threatened to “end an entire civilization” of 90 million people. The only weapons we possess capable of such widespread destruction are nuclear. Are you, as a member of the Republican Party, supportive of nuclear strikes on Iran? You have the power, and the moral duty, to stop this. To not do so makes you complicit. Launching nuclear missiles on a civilian population is a war crime. It is a crime against humanity. What happens when an Iranian proxy or ally fires a nuclear missile at the United States? What happens when an Iranian sympathizer detonates a dirty bomb in the U.S.? Are you, as a Republican member of Congress, willing to have nuclear war as your legacy? To be remembered in history as someone who could have stopped a nuclear war, but chose not to? My wife and I demand you use your congressional power to stop any attempted nuclear attacks by the United States. To not do so is to be complicit in a global nuclear war.
