ICE is breaking into homes under the authority of a secret DHS memo dated 5/12/25 saying agents do not need a warrant for such action. This should NOT be happening! The fourth amendment prohibits this action. The legal training manual of DHS quotes a 1984 Supreme Court decision that ruled this action is the "chief evil" against the fourth amendment. Senator Richard Blumenthal wrote recently on social media: "My Republican colleagues who claim to value personal rights against government overreach now have an opportunity to prove that rhetoric is real." I am certain that you will have some justification for this action, but I choose to believe there is NO satisfactory justification. Again, I remind you of your oath to "support and defend" the US Constitution! Please do all within the power of your position to call for the illegal (and immoral) acts of ICE to end.
