I'm writing to demand the immediate release of the 4 journalists arrested by Trump's DOJ: Don Lemon, Trahern Jeen Crews, Georgia Fort and Jamael Lydell. Detaining journalists for performing constitutionally protected work is a direct violation of the First Amendment. This is intimidation, not law enforcement. Beyond their immediate release, I am demanding real accountability for these violations. Specifically: → Articles of impeachment against Attorney General Pam Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche for overseeing or allowing federal actions that target journalists → Their immediate removal from office → The firing of Stephen Miller for advancing policies that undermine civil liberties and press freedom We cannot allow the government to violate the First Amendment and face no consequences.
