I’m a concerned citizen regarding the use of surveillance, masked men, unmarked vehicles and with weapons kidnapping people out of their homes, court appointments, schools, churches and everywhere else in America. I want some assurance from you governor Whitmer that Michigan is following the lead of Illinois where they are stopping the surveillance of folks, not allowing masked men without identification kidnapping folks off our streets without any judicial process. What are we in Michigan doing to protect our citizens and immigrants documented or undocumented? Are they using racial profiling to stop vehicles? Do people have the right to remain in their vehicle doors locked and not required to leave their vehicle when unidentified men in masks pull them over? Can we continue to drive to the nearest police station? If the answer to any of these questions is yes can this be advertised on TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, online? I would like to have the Baldwin ICE facility nixed and no ICE facilities in our state.
