Urgent Action Required: Uphold Constitutional Authority

To: Sen. Blumenthal, Rep. Hayes, Sen. Murphy

From: A verified voter in Waterbury, CT

June 23

I am contacting you today to express my deep concern regarding President Trump’s recent order to bomb three nuclear sites in Iran. This action represents a significant violation of our Constitution, as the power to declare war resides solely with Congress, not the President. By launching these attacks without Congressional approval, President Trump has not only disregarded our constitutional framework but has also once again overstepped his authority. This is a critical moment for our democracy, and we cannot allow such actions to go unchecked. I urge you to raise your voice and take immediate action. It is imperative that you vote in favor of the Iran War Powers Resolutions: - S. J. Res. 59 in the Senate - H. Con. Res. 38 in the House Hold the Trump administration accountable for these reckless and irresponsible actions! Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. Our constitutional integrity depends on your swift response.
