Watching our current government is more and more concerning each day. The bill that just passed in congress has a provision to remove the Federal courts ability to hold officials in contempt. This is a bold move towards dictatorship.  Trump is doing many illegal things and ignoring the courts rulings.  This act would give him immunity from prosecution.  Please stand by our constitution and deny this change. Other parts of the bill that I find disgraceful are: Cutting so many programs for the country's disadvantaged (Medicare, Medicaid ACA etc. ). If we need money, how about getting rid of the 2017 tax cuts for those making $200,000 or more and getting rid of IRS loopholes that allow millionaires and billionaires to pay very little in taxes.  Stop Allowing AI in election campaigns. This is allowing so much disinformation.  Please Stop the genius act.  Stop Trump from taking millions in bribes (free plane).  Stop allowing countries to send Trump money via Crypto currency (for bribes). Stop interfering with our universities and threatening our courts. Our courts are there to keep congress and the President  in check.  Our universities do much of the medical research we need.  If cuts are needed, do them across the board not as retribution for colleges not following exactly what a President wants.   I'm begging you to do the right thing before our democracy is totally gone.   Please do not respond with your form letter.  Just please do the right thing and help those who need it and keep our Democracy safe.
