I am writing to you as your constituent to express my absolute fury and horror regarding the state-sanctioned execution of Renee Good by an ICE agent in Minneapolis on January 7, 2026. This was not "law enforcement." This was a murder committed by a federal agent acting as part of an occupying force in an American city. The narrative being spun by the Department of Homeland Security—labeling a U.S. citizen and legal observer as a "domestic terrorist"—is a grotesque lie designed to cover up an extrajudicial killing. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey has reviewed the footage and explicitly called the self-defense claim "garbage" and "bullshit." Witnesses state clearly that Ms. Good was attempting to leave the scene when an agent recklessly stepped in front of her vehicle and executed her. This blood is on the hands of the current administration. I demand you take the following actions immediately: Impeach DHS Secretary Kristi Noem: Secretary Noem has immediately moved to smear a dead American citizen as a "terrorist" to justify this killing. Her authorization of this militarized "surge" and her subsequent cover-up of lethal misconduct constitute a gross abuse of power and a betrayal of the public trust. She is unfit for office. Impeach President Donald Trump: The President has deployed a federal paramilitary force into our cities, inciting violence and chaos. By defending this agent's actions before an investigation has even concluded and demonizing the victim, he is sanctioning state violence against the very people he swore to protect. This is a high crime against the American people. Demand Criminal Accountability: The agent responsible must be stripped of their badge, arrested, and charged with homicide. There must be no qualified immunity for federal agents who murder citizens in our streets. Expel Federal Forces: Demand the immediate withdrawal of these federal "surge" agents from Minneapolis. Their presence is clearly a danger to public safety, not a protection of it. Do not send me a form letter thanking me for my views. I want to know specifically what you are doing to stop this tyranny. If you remain silent while federal agents kill citizens and the Executive Branch covers it up, you are complicit.
