It's now been reported in both the New York Times and the Guardian that GOP members of Congress are subject to threats from Trump and Musk and that some feel unable to speak freely, make criticisms, or vote the way their consciences or their constituents require. I am appalled. I am sure you are too, even if you are too scared to speak out. This is how democracy is strangled. Please take action now with your colleagues-- both sides of the aisle together. Say you will not permit this. If hundreds of house members defy this, there will be strength in numbers. Ridicule is powerful. So is unity. Use both. The level of illegal activity and attacks on our constitution, our congressional and judicial branches, on our government infrastructure and against our global allies is causing widespread devastation to our country and the rest of the world. Please fire Musk and his team and lock them out of our agencies. And please Impeach JD Vance and Donald Trump. I would like to end by commending you for your diligent efforts during this extremely chaotic period. Please hang in there and try to think of new ways to handle these unique challenges. We are depending on you and your colleagues to rescue our democratic system and our infrastructure.
