This country didn’t start with permission. It started with defiance. Do it again

This country did not begin with permission. It began with defiance. Ordinary people—farmers, merchants, laborers—looked at a distant ruler who ignored their needs and decided to work together instead. They organized. They resisted. They chose collaboration over submission and built something entirely new out of it. That is the origin of your authority. You were not elected to defer to power. You were elected to check it. To stand together—across party lines when necessary—when the system itself is at risk. Bipartisanship is not a political strategy; it is the foundation of how this country survives moments like this. When leadership fails, it is not only your right but your responsibility to act collectively, just as those early Americans did. Not for party. Not for optics. For the preservation of a government that answers to its people. You already know how this story begins. The question is whether you are willing to decide how it ends.
