Border Patrol "Commander-at-Large" Gregory Bovino’s demotion is a glaringly obvious attempt by the administration to create a "fall guy" for the violent outcomes of the current mass-deportation campaign. Bovino’s removal following the fatal shootings of Alex Pretti and Renee Good in Minneapolis does not solve the problem; it merely masks it. Bovino operated outside the standard chain of command, reporting directly to Secretary Kristi Noem. His aggressive "turn and burn" tactics aren’t isolated incidents — they’re the direct implementation of policies championed by Tom Homan, Stephen Miller, and Pam Bondi…people still in charge. While Bovino is being sidelined, the "poison" remains. The leadership in this administration is consistently: • Manufacturing falsehoods: Labeling victims like Alex Pretti as "domestic terrorists" despite video evidence showing he was shot in the back. • Subverting command: Bypassing statutory oversight to allow political appointee Miller to direct tactical operations. • Fanning violence: Using inflammatory rhetoric that puts everyone at extreme risk. A personnel change is not accountability. And it’s certainly not leadership. Please launch a formal investigation into the Department of Homeland Security’s "Operation Metro Surge" and the roles played by Homan, Noem, and Miller in bypassing traditional law enforcement protocols. Congress must stop this administration from using career officials as shields for their reckless, unconstitutional, and lethal executive actions.
