I strongly urge against confirming Matt Gaetz as Attorney General. Recent testimony to the House Ethics Committee alleges that a witness saw Gaetz having sexual relations with a minor. Such abhorrent conduct involving the exploitation of a child is disqualifying for someone being considered for our nation's top law enforcement position overseeing the enforcement of laws against sex crimes. The American people deserve an Attorney General of unimpeachable character and unquestioned integrity. Gaetz's nomination raises grave concerns and casts doubt on his ability to objectively oversee potential investigations involving himself. For the sake of justice and protecting the vulnerable, I implore you to reject this nomination.
