I just read the article about Trump poised to drop the IRS suit and launch a $1.7 billion 'weaponization' fund for allies: https://abcnews.com/US/trump-poised-drop-irs-suit-launch-17b-weaponization/story
The ongoing financial abuse of the American taxpayer at the hands of incompetent and grifting administrators must end. This proposed fund represents a brazen extortion and theft from the American taxpayer, and I urge you to find ways to repudiate, reject, and extract reparation for those who would take advantage of our citizens. Rooting out corruption and fraud should be a priority, and this situation provides a clear opportunity to start.
The arrangement of this fund raises significant concerns regarding oversight. It would be an unprecedented use of taxpayer dollars with little to no oversight, as the commission would not be obligated to disclose its procedures. This lack of transparency is unacceptable and could lead to further misuse of funds.
Additionally, there are serious ethical concerns regarding Trump's control over the fund. His authority to remove commission members without cause raises questions about accountability and integrity. Furthermore, Trump suing his own government creates a conflict of interest that cannot be ignored.
Please take action to ensure that taxpayer dollars are protected and that there is accountability for those who misuse public funds.
