There have been Numerous reports of ICE detaining Sovereign Indigenous citizens due to their lack of training and inability to recognize Tribal IDs. I demand that you seek the immediate release of all Tribal members without negotiation; as any negotiation would violate existing Treaties. It is obvious that further training is required regarding the ability of ICE agents to recognize Tribal ID. The continued detention of the members at Fort Snelling, the location of historic atrocities, including the mass execution of indigenous men, is extremely disrespectful of their suffering at the hands of our goverment. This is an egregious offense by the DOJ and must be immediately corrected.
