Please, please work to stop the war in Iran. Another war powers resolution seems like a good idea, but more than that, please refuse to authorize any additional funding (bring our troops home instead!) and also reduce the military budget going forward. It may be reasonable to have DEFENSE budget, but cut the disastrous, illegal, bad-for-everyone OFFENSE budget. Please use this as a wedge issue for Republicans. "Nation building" has never worked through war and other military actions and always disregards lives on all sides and wasted money that should be spent for helping those in need. All recent presidents have abused the power of congress in relation to military aggression, it is way past time to reign in executive power, especially for this.
