I am writing this to express how appalled I am with both of my Indiana senators for voting in favor of the “big beautiful bill.” This bill is devastating. It is a wild misuse of resources, not to mention incredibly cruel- millions of people across America INCLUDING HOOSIERS will lose access to health care and risk being separated from family members as a result of additional ICE funding. How could you want this for your constituents? I am ashamed of you, and you should be ashamed of yourself. You continue to make the state of Indiana look like a joke to the rest of the country. As this bill returns to the house, I urge you to reconsider your position and oppose this disastrous piece of legislation.
