An Act Establishing Medicare for All in Massachusetts

To: Sen. Jehlen, Gov. Healey, Rep. Decker

From: A constituent in Cambridge, MA

February 13

I am writing to urge you to support the Medicare for All legislation being proposed for Massachusetts in 2025. This bill would guarantee comprehensive, equitable health care access for all residents, regardless of employment status, income level, pre-existing conditions, or other factors. By establishing a single-payer system through the Massachusetts Health Care Trust, we can ensure continuous, affordable coverage without co-pays, deductibles, or other out-of-pocket costs creating barriers. This is a matter of protecting the health and wellbeing of all our citizens. No one should have to worry about losing care due to job changes or financial hardship. Medicare for All would provide the quality, publicly-financed universal healthcare coverage that Massachusetts deserves. I hope you will prioritize the welfare of your constituents by co-sponsoring and vigorously supporting this crucial legislation.
