I come to you to oppose Senate Bill 213. This bill is built on blatant sexism, ableism, and transphobia. This bill makes it impossible for anyone born intersex to be able to reliably access their own records and Healthcare in our great state. This bill makes it so many of our people are unable to express themselves in ways that only affect them. Pennsylvania is supposed to be a safe haven for ALL of her people. This bill would allow blatant discrimination of anyone who does not fit a specific mold. For example, cisgender women with PCOS will exhibit facial hair in similar ways to transgender women. Neither one of them deserve to be harassed but this bill will ensure that both do. It is up to you to protect all of the Pennsylvanians- whether they are queer or hetero- and ensure we all can make full use of our constitutional rights
