I am writing to urge you to not vote in favor of any more of Trump’s wildly unfit nominees. The president has proved that he intends to grab all power for himself, and it’s past time for Congress to reassert itself as a coequal branch of the government. Do not confirm his nominees. Filibuster his legislative priorities. Do everything within your power to stop him. You’re the opposition party. Act like it. If he’s a threat to democracy (and he is!), then he must be stopped.
