I am writing against to protest this Republican administration’s spending additional money on its illegal travesty of a war with Iran. The total cost of the war is already estimated to be at least $132 billion. For what purpose? To what end? American taxpayers, already financially stressed by rising prices, are bearing the cost of this needless war. A report released this week estimates the average household has spent an additional $1,313 since the war began. As a member of Congress, you have the power to stop this madness. As a member of the Republican party, the folly of this endless war reflects negatively on you and your leadership. Are you content with that? Not one penny of our tax dollars should go to this war while American families struggle to afford basic expenses such as food, fuel and rent. My wife and I urge you, again, to demand an end to this administration’s pointless war with Iran.
