My letter to Congress... Discipline and censure Eric Schmitt. He lied on record and falsely accused an innocent public servant, Jack Smith, of perjury. The result of Schmitt’s ill-conceived plot is to remind the American people that the Republican party is comical in its incompetence but dangerous, led by Trump to use lies, deceit, absolutely illogical scenarios pulled from the dark web to attempt to frame innocent people and deceive the American people to believe that law abiding citizens are criminal, evil and deserve to be denigrated. We were also reminded that Jack Smith’s team put together evidence that showed beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump stole US property and conspired to overturn the 2020 election. If Schmitt is willing to play so loosely with reality, to defame and potentially incriminate Jack Smith, a highly respected well resourced public servant, one can only imagine what he would do to an ordinary American who dissents against the Trump regime and the Republican Party. Please pass this on to the full Republican Caucus… You have a choice. Discipline and censure Schmitt or announce to the American people that you support the subversion of justice.
