I’m furious that you are one of 16 Senate Democrats who voted with Republicans to advance the GENIUS Act, a crypto-friendly bill that will enable Trump’s continued corruption. Unless it is rewritten to actually stop Trump from taking crypto-bribes, I expect you to oppose it when it next comes up for a vote. Crypto is famously easy to use for criminal purposes and, as we see with Trump, for corruption. Voting for this doesn’t make you reasonable and bipartisan, it makes things easier for Trump to corrupt and for the tech bros to clamp down on democracy. I expect better from my Senators!
