First, turn your after-hours voicemail back on. Listening to your constituents is the least you can do. It is part of your job. Secondly, I am writing to express my extreme disapproval of how Trump is using the National Guard to intimidate Democrat-run cities. He sent the National Guard into DC even though violent crime in the city is at its lowest point in decades. He sent armed Border Control agents to the governor of California's press conference. These are the actions of a dictator, not a president, and it's making everyone feel less safe. What can Congress do to put a check on this? At the very least, please make a statement saying that you are against these actions. And as a member of the Senate Border Control committee, can you authorize an investigation into this misuse of Border Control agents? Thanks.
