I am writing to ask you to oppose the passage of Senate Bill 1524. While I sympathize with the plight of restaurant owners in a challenging economic environment, the fact remains that customers such as myself deserve to know the cost of a meal upfront. Restaurants, like all other businesses, must compete on an equal footing, and not resort to hidden or poorly disclosed to fool customers into thinking that a meal is cheaper than stated. Thank you.
