I am proud of New York for standing against this administration's discriminatory efforts to undermine diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives that promote equal opportunity, and exclusion. Opposition to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policies comes mainly from those who have historically benefitted from bigotry and feel disenfranchised by the pursuit of fairness and justice for all students.
