Our endanger species act currently provides protection for plants and animals found nowhere else on Earth. There is no reason at all to weaken these protections, when they provide economic opportunities longer term when protected.
Quite simply, if protected, our country remains great. It remains a destination that many choose to pour their tourism dollars into, which benefits every aspect of our economy.
Without these plants and animals and all the other pending changes, it is my belief that our economy will take a further hit. Why would anyone choose to visit here when there's nothing they can't see in their own area, or their own country? The same is true for our national parks. Protect our endangered species, fully fund the parks, and restore the needed staffing to the parks so they may function adequately. The fate of our country is not up to one person, or even to our elected officials. It is up to the people who elected you. I urge you not to be tone deaf, and to listen to what your constituents are telling you- defund Trump's shenanigans, and fully fund our parks and protect ALL the endangered species.
