The U.S. has never had a comprehensive national law governing online privacy. I, therefore, support expanding privacy protections unde r the American Data Privacy and Protection Act. Under this act, HIPAA protections would be expanded and sensitive data about my past/p resent/future physical health would be protected, whether it is held by my medical provider or held in my hand.
